Today our walk was dedicated in honor of:
Marine LCPL Ralph J. Fabbri, Age 20 of Gallitzin, PA.
KIA Sep. 28, 2010 Operation Enduring Freedom
LCPL Fabbri was assigned to Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, CA.
LCPL Fabbri died while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan.
One day before his 21st birthday.
He was a combat photographer.
We had a great 6.21 Mile walk today. We started our walk by walking to the Meditation Trail and walking it. What a beautiful day to walk on a nice trail. We then made our way to the War Memorial Park down town. We made a stop to read the Pledge of Allegiance. Before heading home we made a stop by the Train Depot and by Food City to salute the flag. I want to thank my friend Robert for walking with us today and I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero today. We had 148 honks today. It was amazing. Thank You.
Marine LCPL Ralph J. Fabbri will not be forgotten !
