Today our walk was dedicated in honor of:
Army Veteran Jacob McBroom, Age 34 of Crossville, TN.
Died Oct. 18, 2022
He was a cell tower foreman helping to keep us all connected. He was a loving family man and friend.
Served in the US Army from Feb. 2006 to July 2010.
He leaves behind a wife and four children.
We had a great 9 mile walk this morning. We walked up town to the War Memorial Park and we read several names on the Memorial Wall and then headed north on 127. We took Northside Drive and walked through The Gardens before heading home. The walk started a little on the cold side and some fog but didn’t take long to see that it was going to be a beautiful day. I want to thank everyone that honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this home town hero. We had 212 honks this morning. Thank you.
