My walk was dedicated in honor of :
Army Cpl Bobby G Anderson, Age 23 of Crossville, TN
KIA July 9, 1953 North Korea in the battle of Pork Chop Hill
He was assigned to the 17th infantry regiment, 7th infantry division
He is buried in the Crossville City Cemetery and his name is on the War memorial located downtown crossville, TN.
He is also remembered at the Korean War Veterans Memorial in Washington.
We had a great 6 mile walk this morning. We walked to the memorials downtown where his name is on the memorial. It is the first name under the Korean War heroes. We then walked to his grave in the Crossville City Cemetery. I want to thank all who honked and waved in helping me honor this hero.
He will not be forgotten.
