Our walk today was dedicated in honor of:
Army Veteran John R. Edenfield, Age 53 of Saint Petersburg, FL.
Died Jul. 15, 2004
John was a Vietnam War Veteran
He got shot while serving in Vietnam and died from medical issues from that.
We had a great 11.11 Mile walk today. We walked by Holiday Hills Lake and then headed up town and made a stop at the War Memorial Park. We then headed down East 1st Street and made a stop in at the Crossville City Cemetery. We then walked up Cook road and then walked over by the post office and crossed over West Ave. and stopped to talk to a few people near Kroger’s. We then headed back to the house. I want to thank my friend Robert for walking with us today and I would like to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero today. We had 249 honks. It was amazing. What a wonderful day for a great walk.
