Army Veteran Glenn D. Stimpson, Age 75 of Crossville, TN.
Died April 21, 2024
Vietnam War Veteran
He was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star
It was an honor to walk 11.47 miles with Army Veteran Glenn D. Stimpson today. Our first stop was the DAV – Disabled American Veterans office and then over to Miller Ave. We then made a stop in at the American legion. Our next stop was the Veterans Memorial Park where we read some names on the Memorial Wall of some of our Fallen Brothers. We then walked out one East 1st Street and stopped in at the Crossville City Cemetery and played taps where his urn is buried. We then worked our way back to 127 and turned the bakery and we stopped in at the Frost Cemetery to visit some of our Fallen Brothers before heading home. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero. We had 468 honks today. It was amazing. Thank you.
