My walk today was dedicated in honor of:
Navy PO2 Jason Recker, Age 47 of Mayport, FL.
Died Nov. 27, 2020
His home town was Cincinnati, Ohio
He would have had 25 years in this Feb.
He served 94-98 USS Thomas S gates
98-2002 inactive reserve
2004-2016 reserves with deployments to Iraq, Kuwait and Afghanistan
2016- 11/27/2020 active duty NS Mayport
Love of his life: Wife Melissa and 5 children ages 3, 4, 11, 11, 23
We had a great 5.75 Mile walk today. We walked to the lake and seen some geese fly over. We then stopped by Boats & Harbors and see the big Anchor on display. We visited the war memorial park down town and we stopped and saluted the big American Flag at the Bakery. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero. You all were amazing today.
