Our walk today was dedicated in honor of:
Marine CPL Christian Buxton, Age 21 of Idaho Falls, ID.
Died Jan. 3, 2023
Christian Buxton was a Marine at Camp Pendleton. He was a gunner and was proud to serve and honored to fight for the freedom of his country alongside his brothers. He carried himself with exceptional strength, valor, and grit.
Christian was a beautiful, loving son, protective brother, devoted husband, and lyal friend. He is survived by his parents, his sister, and wife.
Today would have been his Birthday.
It was about 24 Deg. and snowing when we headed out the door. We walked by Holiday Hills Lake and then we worked our way up town to the Veterans Memorial Park where we read several of the names of our Fallen Brothers on the Memorial Wall. Was nice not having so much traffic. We worked our way north and turned back west at Flowers Bakery and headed back tot he house. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero. We had 190 honks today. It was amazing. Thank you.
