Marine LCPL Michael E. Geary, Age 20 of Derry, NH.
KIA Dec. 8, 2010 Operation Enduring Freedom
LCPL Geary was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C
LCPL Geary was killed in action while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan.
We had a great 8.09 Mile walk this morning. We walked by Lake Holiday and walked around part of the lake and then headed up to the War Memorial Park down town and then back towards home. I want to thank my friend Robert for walking with us today and I want to thank all that honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero. We had 122 honks this morning. Thank You.
