Today my walk was dedicated in honor of
Navy Veteran Robert Frederick Bogardus Jr, Age 77 of Fairfield Glade
Died Feb. 25, 2019
He was born Feb. 13, 1942, in Bridgeport, CT
After serving in the Navy during Vietnam, Robert worked for numerous years as a CNA for special needs patients. He was an Honorary Member, Third Degree, of the Knights of Columbus in Southbury, CT. Robert loved to travel and also was a parishioner at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. He was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather
We had a great walk. I want to thank everyone who honked and waved in helping me honor this hero.
He will NOT be forgotten !
