We had a great 9.60 Mile walk today. What a beautiful sunrise we had this morning. We walked by the Armory and then headed north and walked along the river in the Obed River Park. It was beautiful and was nice to hear all the birds. We then made a stop at the 9/11 Memorial and walked Miller Ave over by the Highschool where we headed east and towards down town to the War Memorial Park. We made a stop at the park and paid our respects to the KIA Fallen Heroes and then we made our way back to the house. We really had a great walk. I want to thank my friend Robert for walking with us today and I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero today. We had 197 honks. It was amazing.
Army SPC Ashley Shelton will not be forgotten !
