Today my walk was dedicated in honor of:

Army Veteran SP4 Ronald Earl Overholt, Age 61 of Evensville, TN.
Died Sep. 22, 2016

Served 2 1/2 years in Germany as a medic in the 2nd Battalion 28 Infantry Regiment also known as the Black Lions. He was cremated.

We had a great 7.58 Mile walk today. We got to meet his step son while on his walk today. We also met a homeless veteran who I have met several times over the last year or so and I have donated to him a few times. He surprised us today by donating to our cause. He said he was at a better place and wanted to help our cause. It goes to show you that you never know the other persons story.

I want to thank my friend Robert for walking with us today and I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero. We had 199 honks today. It was amazing. Thank you

Army Veteran SP4 Ronald Earl Overholt will not be forgotten !
