My walk today was dedicated in honor of:

Army Veteran PFC Oliver H Hall, Age 85 of Cumberland County, TN.
Died Aug. 20, 2007

He joined the Army Sept. of 1939 at the age of 18.
He was retired from the Crossville Housing Authority as a maintenance supervisor and was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church in Big Lick. He was also retired from the U.S. Army, having served during World War II and spent 30 years in the National Guard. He also belonged to many clubs and organizations, some of which were Cumberland County Farm Bureau, charter member of VFW Post 5025, 50-year member of the Crossville Masonic Lodge 483, NAWS, the Chattanooga Scottish Rite Club and the Crossville Scottish Rite Club. Hunting was one of his favorite pastimes.

He was born in Big Lick and buried in Big Lick Cemetery.

We had a great walk today. The weather was perfect. I want to thank everyone who honked and waved in helping me honor this hero. You all are amazing.

He will not be forgotten !
