Today our walk was dedicated in honor of:
Marine CPL Travis Dale Steward, Age 25 of Muscatine. IA.
Died Dec. 18, 2017
He served in the Marines and was awarded several medals. Travis loved to spend time with family and friends. He is survived by his three children, Shawn,Hayden, and Jayde.
We had a great 7.78 mile walk this morning. We got to see some of the sunrise threw the clouds this morning and then we headed to the 9/11 Memorial. We then walked to the Centennal Park and walked the trail and then headed up town to the War Memorial Park. We then headed back home. I want to thank my friend Robert for walking with us this morning and I want to thank all who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero this morning. We had 138 honks. It was amazing. Thank You.
