Today our walk was dedicated in honor of:
Army Veteran Harold Dean Wilson, Age 49 of Bartonville, IL.
Died Sep. 17, 2013
He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving from 1981 until being honorably discharged in 1991.
He was a self-employed painter.
He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. A nice cold Budweiser and a Cardinals game with friends was a perfect Sunday. All who knew Hal will dearly miss him.
We had a great 8.76 mile walk. We walked by the Army National Guard Armory and then we headed for Woodlawn Road where we got onto the Woodlawn Trail and walked it and then we found the Little Obed River Trail and walked it till we got to Old Jamestown Hwy. We then headed back towards the house. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero. I also want to thank my friend Robert for walking with us today. We had 140 honks. It was amazing. Thank You.
Army Veteran Harold Dean Wilson will not be forgotten !
Bless you Tim for what you do for our Veterans
