Our walk was dedicated in honor of :
Army Veteran Jacob McBroom, Age 34 of Crossville, TN.
Died Oct. 18, 2022
He was a cell tower foreman helping to keep us all connected. He was a loving family man and friend.
Served in the US Army from Feb. 2006 to July 2010.
He leaves behind a wife and four children.
We had a great 5.61 Mile walk today. We walked out Northside Drive and we honored this great hero as he was going to his final resting place. Rest easy brother, we now have the watch. We then walked back on 70 north and then home. I want to thank my friend Robert for walking with us today and I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this Hero today. We had 309 honks today. It was amazing. Thank you !

Jake served with my son Dustin Parker and with Robert Ledbetter. He was a good man. I was so very sorry to hear of this loss. My condolences and prayers are with his family and all those who loved him.
I went to High School with him. Such a good person with a heart gold. My prayers are with his family during this tough time. Rest in peace Jake.
