Today our walk was dedicated in honor of:
Army SFC Adam Joseph Donaldson, Age 37 of Dover, NH.
Died Nov. 15, 2021
Moving to Maryland at a young age, Adam graduated from Glen Burnie Senior High School in 2002 and at the age of 18, set his sights on serving in the United States Army. During his 19 years of service, Adam completed tours in Korea, Germany, Iraq, and Poland. Adam was a skilled mechanic where he became known during a battalion “Able Call” ceremony as “Tank Whisperer,” by other senior leader belt buckle holders. This award is given to you for being known within the ranks on how to be proficient at your job.
Adam will be dearly missed and remembered by all who had the opportunity to be in his presence.
We put a pink Ribbon with Adam’s photo on our walk to honor Adam’s 9 year old daughter who was killed in a automobile accident on Oct. 8, 2022.
We had a great 5.65 Mile walk today even though it was cold and raining. We walked up town to the War Memorial Park and on the way home we got to visit with several people along the way. We stopped to see the flag at the Bakery before going home. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero today. We had 234 honks today and reached a new goal of 50,112 honks since April of last year. You all are amazing. Thank you !
Army SFC Adam Joseph Donaldson will not be forgotten !

Adam was my nephew. Thank you for doing this walk in his memory!
