It was a great honor to walk 7.14 miles with Army SSGT Sammy Ray Wiswell today. We started out by walking by Lake Holiday Hills and then we headed over to Miller Ave. We made a stop in the Garrison Park where the Field Of Honor is located. We visited each Veteran’s Flag and read the names out loud and thanked them for their service and saluted. Took almost three hours but we made it through all the flags. We then headed up town and we made a stop at the Veterans Memorial Park where we read a few names of our Fallen Brothers on the Memorial Wall and visited the other Memorials. We then headed north till we got to the Bakery and then we made our way back to the house. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero. We had 213 honks today. It was amazing. Thank you.
Army SSGT Sammy Ray Wiswell will not be forgotten !
