Our walk today was dedicated in honor of:
Marine Veteran Brandon Wayne Robinson, Age 29 of Moyock, NC.
Died Dec. 5, 2013
Brandon was LCPL in the USMC from 2007-2011, doing 1 tour in Iraq in 2009 and 1 in Afghanistan in 2010, Brandon grew up in Va. beach Va, but moved with his family to Moyock NC! Brandon came home a shell of the happy, charismatic young man who joined, I feel PTSD left Brandon on the battle ground between Iraq and Afghanistan! Brandon loved anything outdoors, fishing, skiing, camping, and riding his dirt bike! Brandon was a tender hearted, kind soul! Brandon is missed everyday.
We had a great 5.16 Mile walk. Our first stop was at the 9/11 Memorial. We then headed up 127 north and we met Ed with 22 Too Many , Operation Creekside. We got to visit with Ed for a while and we had the Patriot Guard Riders their and couple other Veterans with jeeps. We also had the County Fire, City Police, and County Their. We were escorted through town to deliver a Memorial Bench to a grieving mother. It was great to be able to help. We had an amazing time and I think Brandon would have had a smile on his face for what we were able to do. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted, We had 139 honks today. It was amazing. Thank you
Marine Veteran Brandon Wayne Robinson will not be forgotten !
