My walk today was dedicated in honor of :
Army SFC Carson L. Parsons, Age 20, of Crossville, TN
KIA Jan.3, 1951 Korea
He was a member of the 21st Infantry Regiment, 24th Infantry Division.
He was awarded the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Combat Infantrymans Badge, Korean War Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Korea War Service Medal
We had an amazing 7 mile walk today. We walked to his grave in the Crossville City Cemetery and we visited a couple of veterans and then we walked to the Hospital to watch the fly over to honor our Healthcare heroes.
I want to thank Robert Batz for walking with me today and I want to thank all who honked and waved in helping me honor this hero today.
He will NOT be forgotten !
