Today our walk was dedicated in honor of:

Marine LCPL Le’Braun Hamilton, Age 19, of Camp Lejeune, NC.
Died Nov. 2, 2024

Lebraun was an outstanding young man who lived his life serving his community and his country.. He had a soul so bright, it would light up the room…He left a positive impact on all those who’ve ever met or known him…He loved his video games ,spending time with his girlfriend, his family, his friends, and his Lil piglets (Rita and Reeses )..He had the most funny laugh and beautiful smile.. He loved everyone, but held a special place in his heart for his momma, his nanny Don Don, his girlfriend Tori, and his teacher Ms. Brandi Mathews…He had such a bright and promising future and wanted to pursue his passion in the medical field but unfortunately his life was cut short…He will forever be loved and missed..

It was a great honor to walk 11.04 miles with Marine LCPL Le’Braun Hamilton today. Before our walk we met up with his mother Brandy and her mother Donna. We headed west and then turned onto Northside Drive and followed it over to 127. We headed South . We walked by the Marine recruiting office and continued south until we reached the Bakery and then we took West Ave. through town all the way to Lantana road. We then walked back north and made a stop in at the Veterans Memorial Park where we read several of our Fallen Brothers names on the Memorial Wall. We then headed south and turned back west at the Bakery and headed back towards the house. It was an amazing walk, even with all the wind. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero. We had an amazing 603 honks today. Thank you.

Marine LCPL Le’Braun Hamilton will not be forgotten !
