My walk today was dedicated in honor of:
Korean War Army Veteran Ronald T Dixon, Age 70 of Crossville, TN.
Died Aug. 11, 2002
He was a truck driver for Carter’s Ink, and was of the Methodist faith. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Buried in the Fredonia Cemetery, Cumberland County
We had an amazing 13.36 Mile walk today. We walked to his grave out at the Fredonia Cemetery. It was great to meet some of his family. On our walk we got to talk to a few people along the way. We made a stop to see the buffalo and we had beautiful weather. I want to thank everyone who honked and waved in helping me honor this hero. They were just amazing today. More honks then I have gotten in a long long time.
He will not be forgotten !
Thank you for honoring our veterans. Thank you for honoring My Father. He loved Jesus, his family and our country. I am proud to call him dad. Tommy Dixon
It was an honor to walk with him.
