My walk today was dedicated in honor of:
US Marine Veteran PFC Earl Ryan Barnes, Age 36 of Sparta, TN.
Died Jul. 9, 2018
He served as a Military Policeman. 2001-2004 in NC.
He is buried at Highland Cemetery in Sparta Tn.
We had a great 5.40 mile walk today. I want to thank my friend Robert for walking with us today and making this walk possible by driving us to Sparta TN. We met his mother at the Veterans park down town. It was great to meet her and to honor her son. We walked from down town at the Veterans Park and walked to his Military Marker in the Highland Cemetery. We then walked around Sparta a little bit and ended back up town. I want to thank all those who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero.
