Our walk today was dedicated in honor of:
Army Veteran Troy Rector, Age 93 of Crossville, TN.
Died Apr. 5, 2024
Troy was born in Sparta, TN in 1930.
He served during the Korean War.
It was a great honor to walk 10.01 miles with Army Veteran Troy Rector today. We started out around 7am and it was a cold 24 degrees. We headed west on Sparta Hwy and we walked to his grave in the Brown Town Cemetery. It was great to meet some of his family at their as well. I want to thank my friend Robert for walking with us today and I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero today. We had 395 honks today. It was amazing. Thank you.
