Today our walk was dedicated in honor of:
WWII Army Veteran Irvin Theodore Hogan, Age 83 of Houston, TX.
Died Dec. 1, 2007
Hogan was born in Florida in 1924
He was my wife’s step father.He gave her away at our wedding in 1995.
He was a great Christian man and I had the honor of meeting him a few times over the years.
He is buried in Brookside Memorial Park, Houston, TX.
We had a great 13.15 Mile walk this morning. We walked Northside Drive and seen the buffalo and then on over to 127 and over to Woodlawn Road to Genesis road. We stopped at the I-40 over pass and then back down Genesis to Industrial Blvd. and back to 127. We stopped at the War Memorial Park down town and then continued back on West Ave and Sparta Hwy and back home. We had a great walk. I want to thank all who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero. We had 233 honks. Thank you so much.
