My walk today was dedicated in honor of:
Army SGT Bobby Frank Limerick, Age 20 of Elkhart , TX.
KIA Aug. 25, 1971 Vietnam
He was drafted into the Army. Entered via Selective Service. Served during the Vietnam War. He began his tour on September 23, 1970.
He was assigned to A Company, 3rd Battalion, 1st Infantry Regiment. 11th Infantry Brigade. 23rd Infantry Division.
Honored on the Vietnam Veterans memorial wall at Panel 2W, Line 2
He was awarded the Bronze Star with “V” , Purple Heart
KIA in Vietnam by small arms fire.
We had a great 7.11 mile walk this morning. The weather was perfect. I want to thank everyone that honked and waved in helping me honor this hero. It was amazing.
He will not be forgotten !
