My walk today was dedicated in honor of:
Air Force Veteran Harry James O’Shanick, Age 77 of Fort Gratiot, MI.
Died May 8, 2020
Air Force A1c Oshanick served from Aug. 25, 1960 to Aug. 24, 1966.
He was a resident of Crossville, TN.
He was cremated in Michigan and his final restin place will be in a military memorial cemetery.
We had a great 5.35 Mile walk today. The weather was beautiful. On our walk we stopped at the War Memorial Park down town and read some names on the wall. I want to thank my friend Robert for walking with us today and I want to thank all those who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero.
We had 182 honks today. It was an amazing walk. Thank You.
Air Force Veteran Harry James O’Shanick will not be forgotten !
Thank you so much Tim for walking in honor of my husband, Harry OShanick. It meant a lot to me that he was remembered as a proud A1c in the Air Force. He was a mentor to our grandson Roy Nieto who considered him a father. Our family was very proud of him and will remember him with pride.
