Today my walk was dedicated in honor of:
Marine CPL Clayton Robbins, Age 26 of Crossville, TN.
KIA Feb 23 1945 Iwo Jima, Japan
He was assigned to the 26th Marine Regiment, 5th Marine Division, Company A, 1st Battalion
He received the purple heart. His name is on the Wall at the Crossville Memorial Park down town.
He is buried in the Crossvile City Cemetery.
We had a great 6.41 Miles walk today. We stopped at the War Memorial Park down town and read his name on the wall then we walked to his grave in the Crossville City Cemetery. I want to thank my friend Robert for walking with us today and I want to thank all who honked, waved, and saluted today. We had 190 Honks. It was amazing. Thank you all for helping us honor this hero today.
Marine CPL Clayton Robbins will not be forgotten !
