Today our walk was dedicated in honor of:
Marine LCPL Terry Dean Taylor, Age 19 of Corydon, IN.
KIA Feb. 24, 1969
LCPL Taylor was killed in combat in Quang Nam Province, Vietnam. He entered the Marine Corps on Nov. 5 of 1968.
He is honored at the Vietnam Veterans Wall on Panel 31W, Line 41.
We had a great 8.03 mile walk today. We walked around Lake Holiday and then headed up to the War Memorial Park. After reading several names off of the Memorial Wall we made a stop to visit a few of our Fallen brothers in the Frost Cemetery and then headed home. It was a beautiful day. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero. We had 188 honks today. Thank you. .
