My walk today was dedicated in honor of:
Marine LCPL Levan A. Church, Age 19 of Hayward, CA.
KIA Aug. 1, 1967 during Vietnam
He served with 9th Marine Amphibious Brigade, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marines, E Company.
He is buried or memorialized at Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno, San Mateo County, California.
His name is on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial wall on Panel 24E, Line 59.
He was awarded the Purple Heart
We had an amazing walk this morning. Spent a couple hours in the Crossville City Cemetery visiting with more Fallen Heroes. I want to thank everyone who honked and waved in helping me honor this hero. It was just amazing.
He will not be forgotten !
