Our walk today was dedicated in honor of:
Army SP4 William Walter George, Age 63 of Chicago, IL
Died May 12, 2019
He enlisted in Jacksonville,FL. in 1980 into US Army. He did basic training and other special training in Ft. Sill, OK. He spent a year in Germany in motor pool. He spent over 4 years serving this great country.
We had a great 7.20 Mile walk this morning. We walked by Lake Holiday and then headed up town to the War Memorial park. We made a stop in the Crossville City Cemetery to visit 6 of our Fallen Brothers before stopping to meet William’s sister Sandi. We then headed back home. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero today. We had 110 honks. It was amazing. Thank You
Army SP4 William Walter George will not be forgotten !
