It was an honor to walk 6.50 miles with Marine Veteran John Kenneth Aytes. We walked by Holiday Hills Lake and made our way to town where we met with John’s son and family. We then made a stop at Family Ties Restaurant for a break. We then worked our way back to Sparta Hwy and then home. I want to thank my friend Active Duty Army , Josh for walking with us today and I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero. We had 137 honks today. It was amazing. Thank you.
