Marine CPL Jerome Ventura, Age 23 of Holtsville, NY.
Died Apr. 23, 2011
CPL Ventura served as a Aviation Supply Specialist with the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing.
Served during the Persian Gulf War
Jerome is buried in Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, New York
Jerome would have been 37 on Feb. 1, 2025
It was a great honor to walk 6.90 Miles with Marine CPL Jerome Ventura. We started out by walking by Holiday Hills Lake. The snow was coming down hard and the lake looked so beautiful. We then headed towards town and we stopped in at the Veterans Memorial Park. We read some names on the Memorial wall of our Fallen Brothers and then we walked by the Train Depot before heading home. We had a great walk. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero. We had 237 honks today. It was amazing. Thank you.
