My walk today was dedicated in honor of:
WWII Army Veteran Spurgeon Walter Gibson, Age 55 of Marion County, TN.
Died March 25th 1975
He is buried in the Laynes Chapel Cemetery, Marion County, TN.
We had an amazing 5.57 Mile walk today. We walked up to the War Memorial Park down town and then headed back to Sparta Hwy . The weather was just beautiful. Our Fallen Soldiers were breathing hard today as our flags were flying very proudly. I want to thank my friend Robert for walking with us today. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero. We had 206 honks today. Thank you
