Army SPC Christopher J. Holland, Age 26 of Brunswick, GA.
KIA Dec. 17, 2004 Operation Iraqi Freedom
He was assigned to Battery A, 4th Battalion, 27th Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Armored Division, based in Smith Barracks, Germany.
He was an Army Medic.
SPC Holland was killed when his Baghdad patrol unit was ambushed with small-arms fire.
He was buried at Arlington National Cemetery and his family was presented The Purple Heart and Bronze Star medals.
We had an amazing 5.64 mile walk this morning. We walked up to the War memorial park down town. We got to see a flew snow flakes fall. What a beautiful day. I want to thank those who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero.
