My walk today was dedicated in honor of:
WWII Army Veteran Edward L. Mifflin, Age 75 of Crossville, TN.
Died Jan. 10, 1992
Was a PFC and served during World War II.
He is buried in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Pomona
We had a great 8.71 Mile walk this morning. We walked to his grave in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Pomona. We placed a flag and a penny at his grave. The penny means that another Veteran has come to visit. I want to thank my friend Robert for walking with us. I want to thank all who saluted, and waved and for the 159 honks in helping us honor this hero. It was amazing.
