My walk today was dedicated in honor of:

Marine Staff SGT David H. Stewart, Age 34 of Stafford, VA.
KIA Jun 20, 2014 Operation Enduring Freedom

He was assigned to 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.

Staff Sgt. David H. Stewart, 34, of Stafford, Virginia, died June 20, while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan.

Staff Sgt. David H. Stewart died as a result of what the Pentagon calls a hostile incident in Helmand Province.

He was deployed three times to Iraq and twice to Afghanistan.

He is buried in the Quantico National Cemetery , Quantico, VA.

We had a great 9.67 mile walk this morning. Got to watch the sun come up. Never gets any better then that. We stopped in the Frost Cemetery and visited a few of our Fallen Brothers. The weather was perfect for a walk. I want to thank all who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero. We had 59 honks. Thank you.

Marine Staff SGT David H. Stewart will not be forgotten !

NOTE: I want to thank East Tennessee, The Gun Shop Crossville & Pawn Shop, and Parts City Auto Parts for flying our beautiful colors !
