My walk today was dedicated in honor of:
Navy Vietnam War Veteran Horace Kelly Browning , Age 91 of Crossville, TN.
He was a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer and served his country for 25 years.
Born Oct. 27, 1927 – died Feb. 1, 2019
Today he would have been 92
What a great walk. I don’t normally walk on Sunday’s but this was a special day since it would have been Horace’s birthday. I want to thank everyone for their honks and waves in helping me honor this hero. You all are just amazing. I got to talk with a couple of homeless Veterans and a very nice family that was out for a walk. It was really a good walk. Thank You
Thank you Tim for this honor for my husband, Horace Kelly Browning. It was very thoughtful of you to do this, especially on Sunday, for his birthday. He loved serving his country, so much so, at the age of 70 he wanted to reinlist. He was a Submariner, and a Senior Chief Petty Officer, serving for almost 25 years. He was a good man, and loved the Lord more than anything else, but serving in the Navy was a close 1st. He was a family man and loved all of his family…especially the little ones. Thank you Sharon Cook for being aware of Mr. Tim and his walks and requesting a walk in honor of your Papa.
Was very glad that I could honor him. We shall keep his memory alive.
