Our walk today was dedicated in honor of:
Army Veteran Samuel Byron Graham, Age 77 of Crossville, TN
Died Sep. 5, 2022
Sam was loved by many family and friends and was a life long member of Pomona Methodist Church. He served in the United States Army and fought in the Vietnam War.
We had a great 8.09 Mile walk today. It’s not often that I walk for someone who I have met and knew. I met Sam years ago while bowling in the men’s league here in Crossville. Over the years I had gotten to meet him several times. One of those times is when my grandson got married. He was right their for the wedding. My grandson worked for Sam for over 7 years. He was a great man and will be missed. To honor him we walked to his grave in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Pomona. I want to thank my grandson Wesley and my great granddaughter Brystol and my friend Robert for walking with us. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero. We had 223 honks today. It was amazing. Thank you.

Army Veteran Samuel Byron Graham will not be forgotten !
Sam was a good friend. Spent many a night bowling in leagues with him. He was a hoot. I’ll never forget how big the finger holes were in his bowling ball.lol. Always had that big smile every time I saw him. Thank you for his honor walk.
