Today my walk was dedicated in honor of:
Army SGT Paul Price Potter, Age 20 of Jackson, MI.
KIA Nov. 28, 1968 Vietnam
SGT Jackson is honored on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall on Panel 37W, Line 3
SGT Jackson began his tour on March 5, 1968. He was a Combat Engineer attached to the 18th Engineer Brigade, 299th Engineer Battalion, 937th Engineer Group, Headquarters Company.
SGT Jackson died in South Vietnam as a result of drowning.
He is buried in the Hillcrest Memorial Park, Jackson, Michigan
We had a great 6.42 Mile walk this morning. What another beautiful day we are having. We walked up town to the War Memorial Park and back. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero. We had 88 honks. Thank you
