Today our walk was dedicated in honor of:
Dustin was a U.S. Army combat veteran having served in Iraq and Afghanistan. Dustin served 10 years in the Army. He is loved and missed by many. A true hero.
We had a great 6.35 Mile walk today. The wind was a little cold but what a beautiful day for a walk. We walked by Holiday Hills Lake and then walked by Cumberland County High School before heading towards town. We made a stop at the War memorial Park and read some names on the Memorial Wall. We then made our way back to Sparta Drive and walked by the Disabled American Veterans office before making it home. I want to thank my friend Robert for walking with us today. I also want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero today. We had 64 honks today. It was amazing. Thank you.
