My walk this morning was dedicated in honor of:
WWI & WWII Army Veteran Master Sergeant Loyd Houston McGhee, Age 48 of England, AR.
Died Feb. 6, 1943
He served 28 honorable years in the Army and Army Air Corps. He was about to be commissioned when he died in West Palm Beach FL.
He served in both WWI and WWII (mostly in the Pacific theater) and fathered 4 daughters
We had a great walk this morning. We spent some time walking out in the country watching the birds. It was a nice walk. I want to thank everyone who honked and waved in helping me honor this hero. It was amazing.
He will not be forgotten !
