Today my walk was dedicated in honor of:
Korean War Army Veteran Avery Porter Aytes Sr. , Age 57 of Crossville, TN
Died June 5, 1987
He served in the Korea War 1952 – 1954.
Buried in Crossville City Cemetery.
Had an amazing walk today honoring a local hero. It was an honor to meet his daughters and to walk to his grave. We had an amazing 11.12 mile walk today. I want to thank everyone that honked and waved in helping me honor this hero. He will NOT be forgotten.
