My walk this today was dedicated in honor of:
Army Veteran Jonathon M. Busbin, 23 of Tampa, FL.
Died Oct. 14, 2017
He served in the Army Airborne Infantry. He was a fiber optic engineer and was an electrician. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycles and traveling. Him and his wife had travled more then 40 states.
Jonathon lost his battle with PTSD in 2017. His family has created a “Jon’s Mission for 22” to help bring awareness to PTSD and Veteran suicide so that maybe it will help other parents who loved one is going threw PTSD and so that they may get the help they need.
Jonathon signed the dotted line to serve and protect our country and we need to honor his service.
What an amazing and emotional 13.66 mile walk today. We walked out to the Green Acres Memory Gardens and we visited 346 Fallen Veterans. We stopped at each one and had a little chat. On our walk today we had the opportunity to meet and talk with a few people. It was amazing.
I want to thank everyone for their honks and waves in helping me honor this fallen Hero.
He will not be forgotten !
