My walk today was dedicated in honor of:
Army Veteran SGT Kelvin Ansari, age 51 of Savannah, GA.
KILOD – May 11, 2019
He had enlisted in the Army in 1988 and was honorably retired after 21 years. He served in Iraq, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabi. Andsari’s career, which spanned 31 years, was all in service to his country and fellow man.
His military experience and the discipline he brought from it made him an incredible leader. July 15, 2018 he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant at the Savannah Police Department.
We had a great walk today. I want to thank Robert for walking with me and Army Veteran Kelvin Ansari. It was a great morning. I want to thank everyone who honked and waved in helping me honor this hero.
He will not be forgotten !
