My walk today was dedicated in honor of :

Navy Seal SOCS Heath M. Robinson, Age 34 of Detroit, MI.
kia Aug. 6, 2011 Operation Enduring Freedom

assigned to an East Coast-based SEAL team; died Aug. 6 in Wardak province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when the CH-47 Chinook helicopter in which he was riding was shot down.

Robinson completed Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL School, Coronado, Calif., in January, 2000. He served with two West Coast-based special warfare units from March 2000 to April 2004, and later served with four East Coast-based special warfare units beginning in April 2004.

His decorations include four Bronze Star Medals, three with ‘V’ for valor; Joint Service Commendation Medal; three Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals, two with ‘V’ for valor; Joint Service Achievement Medal; three Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals; Combat Action Ribbon; two Presidential Unit Citations; Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation; five Navy Good Conduct Medals; Navy Fleet Marine Force Ribbon; National Defense Service Medal; Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal; two Afghanistan Campaign Medals; Iraq Campaign Medal; Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; six Sea Service Deployment Ribbons; NATO Medal; Navy Expert Rifleman Medal and Navy Expert Pistol Shot Medal.

We had an amazing 9.61 Mile walk today. We walked up town to the War Memorial Park and then went up 127 and then walked out in the country . What beautiful weather were having. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero.

Navy Seal SOCS Heath M. Robinson will not be forgotten !
