Today our walk was dedicated in honor of :
Army Veteran Jonathon M. Busbin, 23 of Tampa, FL.
Died Oct. 14, 2017
He served in the Army Airborne Infantry. He was a fiber optic engineer and was an electrician. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycles and traveling. Him and his wife had travled more then 40 states.
Jonathon lost his battle with PTSD in 2017. His family has created a “Jon’s Mission for 22” to help bring awareness to PTSD and Veteran suicide so that maybe it will help other parents who loved one is going threw PTSD and so that they may get the help they need.
We had a great 7.17 Mile walk today. Our first stop was at the Obed River Park where we got to visit with a few people. We then headed up town to the War Memorial Park where we read some names on the Memorial Wall. We then headed back to the house. I want to thank everyone that honked, waved, and saluted. It was amazing. We had 222 honks today. I was just speechless when I got home and looked at the honk counter. Was just meant to be. Thank you all for helping me honor this hero.
Army Veteran Jonathon M. Busbin will not be forgotten !
