Our walk today was dedicated in honor of:
Army Veteran James Marian Randolph, Age 48 of Pleasant Hill, TN.
Died April 1969
He was a PVT in the Army during World War II.
It was an honor to walk 12.49 miles with Army Veteran James Marian Randolph today. We started out by walking by Holiday Hills Lake and then we headed up town to the Veterans Memorial Park where we read some names on of some of our fallen brothers on the memorial wall. We then headed down East 1st Street and made a stop in the Crossville City Cemetery where we visited a few of our Fallen Brothers. We then headed north on Cook road and followed it around to Genesis Road. We made a quick stop in at the Speedway. Met a truck driver and his wife from Texas and got to talk about what I do and who I was walking with. We then continued west and worked our way over to 127 and headed back south and headed back towards the house once we reached the Bakery. What an amazing walk we had and the support we got was just outstanding. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero. We had an amazing 627 honks today. We also had several people stop and thank us for what we were doing . It was just an amazing day. Thank you.
Army Veteran James Marian Randolph will not be forgotten !
