Today our walk was dedicated in honor of:
Army SPC Isaiah O’neal, Age 22 of Tyner, NC.
died Nov. 26, 2021
The 22-year-old wheeled vehicle mechanic was assigned to the 25th Brigade Support Battalion, part of the 25th Infantry Division’s 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team. He joined the Army in November 2017, and his individual awards included the Army Commendation Medal and the Army Achievement Medal.
We had a great 16.08 Mile walk today. We walked by Lake Holiday and then we headed out to the Cumberland Mountain State Park and then headed back to Crossville on 127. We made a stop at the War Memorial Park down town and then home. I want to thank my friend John and his two dogs for helping us honor this hero. I want to thank all who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero. We had 239 honks. It was amazing. Thank You
