Today our walk was dedicated in honor of:
Air Force A1C Austin Davis, Age 21 of Bellefonte, PA.
Died Sep. 10, 2020
Austin loved his country and joined the USAF in 2018.
He was stationed at Edwards Air Force Base when he passed away September 10, 2020. He loved fishing, hiking and making people laugh. He struggled with depression from an early age and was unable to find the joy in life to out weigh the bad times. He sought for help during his time in the military but was unable to find the help he needed to survive. He had a huge dependency on alcohol and had been drinking quite a lot leading to his death.
Today we had a great 5.85 Mile walk. Today was a special walk. It was our 3rd Annual PTSD Awareness Walk. We had the CCHS Football Team out walking with us and I had several family members and friends walking with us today. It was an amazing day. We walked almost 6 miles and the last lap we ran. What an amazing event. I want to thank everyone that came out in support and helping us honor this hero.
Air Force A1C Austin Davis will not be forgotten !

As A1C Airman Davis Father, I wish to Thank You. You have know idea What this means. Words can not describe the gratitude. Losing my Son has been the most painful thing that life has thrown my way. His family is just trying to hang on and things like this mean alot . So Thank You again. I ask that anyone who reads this contact your local representatives and Senators about Our nations Service Men and Women as well as Our Veterans who suffer . 22 a Day is to High a price to pay. Our government sweeps this under the rug and not enough is done for those Who serve and have served. Mental Health and awareness needs to be a priority and not a secret…Thank You Again and God Bless
