Today our walk was dedicated in honor of:
Army Veteran Ralph Boyer, Age 74 of Clarkrange, TN.
Died Nov. 17, 2021
Ralph was a PVT ,Army Medic,he was shot four times from a tank and spent almost a year in the hospital.
He was a Registered Nurse and an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
We had an amazing 5.77 Mile Walk/Run
We left the house about 5:30am this morning and made a stop at the 9/11 Memorial and then went to the Crossville Fairgrounds for the Stars and Stripes 5K Run. It was an amazing event. We got to meet and talk with several people. This event was to help raise money so that Creative Compassion Inc. can help Veterans. We were so honored to be in this event and to meet all the people. I want to thank everyone who helped me honor this hero today and I want to thank those who honked, waved, and saluted as we were headed to the event. We had 12 honks today. Thank you.
